The Pella Community School District is garnering support for facility updates coming as part of a bond issue on the November 2nd ballot.
In total, $50 million in upgrades aims to address key needs in the district over the next decade, with $40 million up to voters to approve or deny.
Rich Schulte is leading a committee of community members to gather support of eligible voters living in the district’s borders, and says residents should consider supporting the measure on the November ballot as an investment in the future of the growing community and the strength of public schools locally.
If approved this fall, construction would begin in Spring 2022. Hear more about the impact of the bond issue and facility updates on today’s Let’s Talk Pella.
