Simpson College is hosting a panel discussion on the history of the labor movement in the United States and Iowa later this month. The moderated discussion will be centered around current flashpoints and controversies between labor and management, and trends in the future of labor in the gig economy. The discussion is co-sponsored by the Culver Public Policy Center, the Iowa History Center, and the Dept. of Business Administration and Economics. The discussion will be held on Thursday, September 9th at 7pm in the Kent Campus Center on the Simpson College Campus.
