The Pella Public Library invites the community to join other stitchers and handcrafters for a Stitch and Chat program at West Market Park on Monday, September 13. The library has been offering Take and Make Stitch Meditation Kits for several months and is now providing the opportunity for people to stitch and sew together. Carol Weihe with the Pella Public Library says they will get newcomers started and work to hopefully catch up with stitchers who have been sewing at home with the kits. Those interested in learning about Stitch Meditation and those who have experience with it are all welcome. Kits will be provided, but participants should bring their own scissors and needle if able. The program will start at 10:00 am on the 13th at the South Shelter House and is free and open to the public.
