The winner of this year’s Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals at the Knoxville Raceway will earn extra money this year. The winner’s share has jumped from $40,000 to $50,000. Knoxville Raceway Race Director John McCoy says with the Late Model Nationals being a premier event, it deserves a bigger winner’s share. The Late Model Nationals are scheduled for September 16th-18th at the Knoxville Raceway and will see around 60 late model drivers from around the nation.
