Summer activities for Indianola Parks and Rec were back in full swing over the last several months, with many programs with full participation and slightly altered for safety. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News the summer was a huge success, with record numbers of kids signing up for tee-ball, and many residents taking advantage of the pool and summer programs.

“We were just so glad to be back to seeing people in person. Seeing those smiling faces, and people getting out and enjoying being outdoors and being active.”
