Events remembering the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks will take place in Pella. This evening, all active and veteran military service members and first responders get free admission and a concession stand meal at the Pella vs. Indianola football game.

The Pella Fire Department will host a joint moment of recognition with the Pella Police Department and Pella Ambulance at 8:46 a.m. Saturday morning with lights on and the U.S. Flag hanging over Main Street. The display will feature vehicles between the three public safety buildings.
