Several Central sports teams were in action Saturday. The day was headlined by the football team’s 69-13 victory over Kalamazoo in the home opener. The men’s golf team placed 6th at the Carthage Fall Invitational. The volleyball team was at the Tiffany Robinson Memorial Invitational, and picked up a 3-1 win over Blackburn and a sweep of North Central.

The men’s cross country team finished third at the Les Duke Invitational in Grinnell, while the women finished 2nd. The women’s tennis team picked up a 5-4 conference win over Nebraska Wesleyan. The men’s soccer team fell to Wisconsin-Platteville 3-1, while the women’s soccer team shut out Wisconsin-Oshkosh 1-0.
