The City of Knoxville’s mural painting project is underway. Artist Ben Schuh began the painting Tuesday evening, which Knoxville won in a community pride contest by the Iowa Economic Development Authority. Knoxville received the most votes in the contest to win.

The mural will feature many landmarks unique to Knoxville and Marion County, and is expected to be completed within 10-14 days.
