Knotfest Iowa 2021 is set to come to Indianola next weekend, with an estimated 30,000 concert-goers visiting to hear Slipknot, Faith No More, Megadeth, and Tech N9ne among others. Interim Police Chief Brian Sher tells KNIA News traffic on that day will be heavy on Highway 65/69 and Highway 92 near the balloon field, so those wishing to avoid traffic should stay away from the main roads. Sher also said more information regarding parking and traffic routes will be available soon, and that day will be a busy one for Indianola with the Log Cabin Days Parade and Open House, along with the Simpson vs Central football game. Knotfest will take place at the National Balloon Classic Field on Saturday, September 25th beginning at noon.
