The Indianola Public Library Summer Reading Program went off with full participation in addition to the rest of the summer events. Janis Comer with the library tells KNIA News the library has been open to the public for a while, but it was really nice to see full participation and a full schedule.
“We had such a great summer. Families were out in force, we had hundreds of people coming through the library doing events, story times, our outside art was hugely popular and messy, which I love. We just had a great, great summer.”
Comer also said there are plenty of fall events that are going on, including visiting the preschools, activities for kids and families, as well as preparing for Beggar’s Night in October.
