PCM’s volleyball squad have lost their last five matches, and their struggles are from their inability to return serves.

Over their last two matches against Heart of Iowa Conference foes Greene County and Nevada, the Mustangs’ serving and hitting efficiency has taken a hit. With only two pure passers on their squad, Coach Mike Vittetoe states that their returning and hitting percentage needs to improve in order to play better this season.

“Well the last couple matches it has been our serve receives, which was a strength early in the season. It’s kind of weird because both matches had started off the same way.”

PCM has lost six of their last seven matches and will match up with Saydel Thursday to try and break their losing streak.
