The Simpson women’s soccer took a 1-0 lead into the second half against Grinnell Wednesday night on the road, then blew up in the second half to win 5-2 over the Tigers. Cassie Nash scored the first half goal to give the Storm a 1-0 lead, followed by four straight goals in the second half to take a 5-0 lead, getting two goals from Hailey Kowzan, another from Nash, and one from Lizzie Arnburg. The Storm are now 3-1 on the season, and next play Saturday at Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The Storm volleyball squad took down Nebraska Wesleyan in American Rivers Conference play 3-1, winning their third straight match. The Storm are now 1-0 on conference play and 3-2 overall on the season, and next hit the court tomorrow to start a two-day tournament in LaCrosse.

The Simpson men’s golf team finished in 9th place at the DMACC Invitational Wednesday morning.
