The Pickard Park Campground in Indianola will be closed beginning September 21st through September 26th due to the Knotfest concert. Interim Indianola Police Chief Brian Sher tells KNIA News the event is drawing 30,000 visitors to the city that day, and the concert organizers have rented the campground for this event that will take place throughout the day on September 25th. Sher also said Indianola residents wishing to avoid traffic that day should stay away from main roads, and the day will be busy with the Log Cabin Days celebration and the Simpson vs Central football game.
