Today is the final day to register for a lifeguard training course at the Knoxville Recreation Center in October. Director Brandon Nemmers says there is always a need for lifeguards, and encourages anyone interested to sign up.

Participants must be at least 15 years old and pass an online course prior to the training sessions. The $165 registration fee will be reimbursed after three months of consistent employment at Knoxville Parks & Recreation. The sessions are October 22-24th.
