The Norwalk boys golf team hosted a meet at Willow Creek Golf Course Monday, and placed 5th out of 10 teams. The meet included the Warriors and several other Des Moines metro and CIML schools. As a team, the Warriors shot a 316. Individually, Nathan Lesley led the way with a 77 and a 12th place finish. Braden Nicholson shot 79 and placed 22nd. Norwalk returns to action Wednesday in Pleasant Hill.

In action tonight is the #15 in Class 4A Warrior volleyball team, hosting Newton. Norwalk looks to get back to. 500 in conference play against a Cardinal team in search of its first conference victory. Head Coach Jenna Karpuk says her team will need to bring it against Newton despite the Cardinals having not won a conference game.

“Our conference is always tough, no matter what, there’s no easy opponents, which is great. We’ll really have to be geared up and play our top game.”

First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. inside the Norwalk High School gym.
