
The Pella City Council approved several action items addressing upcoming projects this fall and spring at Tuesday’s meeting.
Resolutions on the agenda included setting a public hearing for an amendment to a development agreement with Vermeer Corporation for a new parts facility, approving engineering contracts with Garden and Associations for reconstruction of South Prairie and Monroe Streets from gravel to pavement, passing a reimbursement agreement with Spirit of Pella for enhancing holiday decorations, and approving a contract with Wright Outdoor Solutions for those improvements.
During policy and planning, council discussed the Neil Drive/218th Avenue Speed Limit and Stop Signage and a proposed update to the Design Review District Design Manual.
