The Indianola Police Department is selling pink IPD patches in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. Acting Indianola Police Chief Brian Sher tells KNIA News the patches will be worn by officers as well as placed on select patrol vehicles, and can be purchased for $15. Sher also said all proceeds will be donated to the Pink Tractor Foundation, which provides financial assistance to individuals fighting all forms of cancer including breast cancer. Patches may be purchased at the Indianola Police Department through the south entrance of the Public Safety Building, or at the city front desk via the north entrance.
