pleasantville-3

Pleasantville’s volleyball squad has lost their last four matches and will try to break their losing ways this week with a matchup against conference powerhouse Van Meter Tuesday.

The Trojans lost their last two matches of the North Mahaska tournament to PCM and Sigourney. Pleasantville followed that up with getting swept in their home triangular to West Central Conference foe Ogden and Grand View Christian. The Trojans have won just two sets in their last four matches due to lack of effort and execution. Now, with the season starting to enter the homestretch, Pleasantville has two more tournaments and five West Central Conference matches remaining. The Trojans’ two tournaments are at home Saturday and at Martensdale-St. Mary’s next Saturday, October 9.

Pleasantville’s match against Van Meter will be Tuesday at home and will begin at 6:30 PM.
