The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday. The meeting started with a $1,000 donation from the Knoxville Food Youth Initiative. The board approved an updated dress code, which relaxes some areas of the previous code. Board member Marty Duffy says the number one goal is student comfortability, and this new code allows this to happen.

The board also approved an agreement with The Well Knoxville which involves grants to provide better services to students, as well as building project change orders.

The next Knoxville School Board meeting will be October 11th at 5:30 p.m.
