The Pella Community School District has utilitzed input from parents, community members, staff and students to develop and prioritize a ten year facility plan for the district.

The main driver of the facility plan is to create and add new classrooms as the district continues to grow in total student enrollment, according to Rich Schulte with a parent-led committee and assuring that buildings have adequate space to accommodate all learners is the top priority.

The projects total approximately $51 million dollars. The proposed school bond election would pay for approximately $40 million in projects, with the remaining balance coming from dollars the district receives from state sales tax revenue.
