Two Central sports teams are in action today. The women’s soccer team plays its final non-conference game of the season, traveling to Chicago to take on North Park. The Dutch are off to a strong start to their season at 6-2-1 overall after they opened league play with a shutout of Luther. On the other side, the Vikings are 3-5-1 and have lost three straight. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the Holmgren Athletic Complex in Chicago, Ill.

The Central volleyball team looks to stay hot when they return to American Rivers Conference play at Simpson. The Dutch enter 9-6 overall and have won four straight after sweeping the MSOE Invitational over the weekend. The Storm are 4-6 overall, but stand at 2-0 in conference play. Their victory over Luther last Tuesday snapped a four-game skid. Central has won four of the last five in the series. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. inside Cowles Fieldhouse in Indianola.
