PCM’s volleyball squad broke their losing streak Tuesday by knocking off Heart of Iowa Conference foe Perry, three sets to one.

The Mustangs broke their two-match losing streak thanks to double-doubles from Chelsea Bird and Sidney Shaver. Bird had 15 kills and 14 digs while Shaver had 23 assists and 16 digs in the victory. RaeAnn Duinink was third on the team on digs in the match with nine. PCM won the match 25-23, 16-25, 25-7, and 25-19. The win puts PCM at 9-17 on the season and 3-3 in Heart of Iowa Conference play.

PCM will be back in action Saturday when they travel to Pleasantville for their final tournament of the season. Action begins at Pleasantville High School at 9:00 AM.
