Vermeer Corporation is working hard to churn out its famous yellow iron at a record rate despite global supply chain issues. President and CEO Jason Andringa says their situation is not unique among businesses of all sizes, and any shortage of materials big or small can cause considerable trouble in manufacturing their various lines of product. Andringa says it has taken considerable effort in some cases to acquire needed parts, and he’s thankful for the effort of his team in doing so. Vermeer is in the process of expanding their operation on the Mile, including construction of a new parts warehouse and facility on the north side of the campus.
