The Pella Christian Volleyball team will compete in a weekend tournament for the second week in a row. This time, The Eagles will travel to Greene County to compete against Boone, Carroll, Des Moines Hoover, Greene County, Grinnell, South Hardin, and Stanton.

The tournament at Greene County proceeds another tough stretch in the Pella Christian schedule in which the Eagles will match up against ranked 4A teams #8 Oskaloosa and #11 Pella. While those big conference battles await, Eagles Head Coach Tammi Wight knows it’s important not to overlook any team on the schedule.

“We play in a tough conference, but whoever is on the other side of the net is who we are going to compete with that day. So I just want to be ready for whoever. But, every team that comes in we are just going to try and compete and as long as we come in and compete the score and the record will take care of itself.”

The Eagles tournament at Greene County on Saturday is scheduled to begin at 9 am.
