Second Reformed Church in Pella is holding the annual blessing of the animals this Sunday in Pella. Pastor Steve Mathonnett-Vander Well says every pet that attends the 3 p.m. event behind the Cellar Peanut Pub will receive a blessing. Pet owners who wish to bring their animals to the blessing are reminded to do so in a responsible manner.
