The City of Indianola has several openings on the various boards and commissions that serve the city and Indianola City Council. City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA news the boards and commissions are a huge cornerstone in how the Indianola City Council receives information, and are an important part in how the city is run.
“These boards and commissions are Indianola residents who vet issues and provide recommendations up to the Indianola City Council as they make decisions that impact our everyday life. If anyone is interested, we have a page dedicated to this that shows what positions are available on the various boards and commissions, and we have the application that is needed to complete the process.”
