Moderate drought conditions have spread to more portions of south central Iowa in the latest U.S. Drought Monitor Report. Most of the region along and north of the Des Moines River is in drought as per last week’s update, and now, the northern third of Warren County is in enhanced conditions. Marion and Warren Counties along and south of Highway 92 remain abnormally dry.
