The Pella Christian volleyball team has potentially their toughest game of the season tonight as they face #7 in 4A and Little Hawkeye Conference opponent Oskaloosa.

The Eagles come into the contest having won seven of their last eleven matches which includes two weekend tournament runner-up finishes. The Indians have lost just four matches on the season, with just one coming in conference play. The Eagles are no strangers to being tested, but Head Coach Tammi Wight believes her squad could sneak one out against one of the top teams in the state.

“We have, obviously, always a tough schedule and Osky is a really solid team, but we feel like we can compete. And that’s been kind of our purpose all season is that we just compete with whoever comes onto our court and we do get them at our place which is good. My message to our team is that you never know what can happen, and you know why not some night, why can’t we have a chance at knocking someone off?”

The match tonight between Pella Christian and Osky on Eagle Lane starts at 7:15 pm.
