The Indianola City Council heard an update from IMU at their meeting Monday, discussing the IMU plan to separate shared services with the city. Indianola City Manager Ryan Waller tells KNIA News some of the shared services included payroll and other administrative services, among others.
“For instance, one of the things that IMU talked about was bringing on their own IT staff, and that was something that is currently shared to an extent. So now they are adding staff and adding positions, and some of the costs that they are paying the city to differ some of our costs with it, that will be negated.”
