PCM’s volleyball squad were swept in the final home game of the regular season as they lost to West Marshall, three sets to none.

The Mustangs lost their sets 23-25, 10-25, and 18-25. Sidney Shaver had 18 assists and seven digs. Her 18 assists led the team and her seven digs was second on the team. Chelsea Bird led the team in digs with 11 and also had seven kills in the loss. PCM has now lost three of their last four matches. This game was also the final regular season game for seven seniors, who are Claire Wilson, Chelsea Bird, Emily Foster, Maggie Bellon, Paige Van Rees, Vi Humpal, and Tori Peterson. With the loss PCM drops to 11-21 on the season and 2-4 in Heart of Iowa Conference play.

PCM’s final match of the season will be next Thursday as the Mustangs will take a trip up to South Hamilton. The match will begin at 6:30 PM.
