PCM’s cross country squad has closed out the regular season at Honey Creek Resort Tuesday, and now the emphasis will be on getting ready for the Heart of Iowa Conference Meet.

The Mustangs’ girls had a ninth-place finish at their last meet, finishing ahead of Chariton, Wayne, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, and Clarke. The girls’ top finisher was Paige Steenhoek with a time of 22:08. PCM’s boys’ top finisher in their last meet was Kyle Sanders with a time of 20:03. The Heart of Iowa Conference meet will be at the Jewell Country Club in Hamilton County.

The conference meet at Jewell will be Tuesday at 4:30 PM.
