The Indianola Fire and Police Departments, along with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, were available to the public Thursday in a pair of open house events.

The Budweiser Clydesdale’s were at the Indianola Fareway from 4-6pm, with the Warren County Cattlemen’s Association grilling meals and providing free beer samples, with all proceeds from the event going towards the Indianola Police and Fire Departments.
The Indianola Public Safety Open House, in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week, took place from 6-8pm at the Indianola Public Safety building. Educational activities were provided to help kids and families learn more about fire prevention, including stop, drop, and roll, how to navigate a burning building, and how to best make a plan in case of a fire.
The Indianola Noon Lions were on location grilling hot dogs and providing meals.
