The best marching bands from Central Iowa are gathering this Saturday at the 42nd annual Valleyfest. This year, the Pella Marching Dutch and Knoxville Marching Panthers will both be highlighted in the evening showdown competition. Pella placed 2nd overall and 1st in Class 3A at the Urbandale Invitational this past weekend, and have several top trophies from Valleyfest. This will be the first time in several years Knoxville is featured among the elite bands during the evening showdown.
