The number one ranked offense in Division III will be tested today as the Central College football team heads to Cedar Rapids to battle Coe.

The 11th-ranked Dutch lead the country in yards per game (612.4) and are second in scoring (57.0).  Meanwhile, the Kohawks are second in the American Rivers Conference defensively, allowing just 19.5 points per game.  Central coach Jeff McMartin knows that it will be a big challenge for his offense today.

“We have to do a good job in pass protection and not give up sacks, not give up turnovers and take care of the ball. We also have to find ways to run the football, take what they give you and execute that. It’s one thing to know that they’re giving you this, but then we have to make plays.”

Kickoff is at 1:00 today at Clark Field in Cedar Rapids.  Trevor Castle and Don DeWaard will call the action live on 92.1 KRLS, with pregame beginning at 12:35.
