A total of 120 positive COVID-19 tests have been reported among Marion County residents this past week. Three deaths have been attributed to the virus during the time, and a total of nine individuals have died since September 1st. There are 248 active infections locally according to the Iowa Department of Public Health, down from a peak of 347 in late September. Five Marion County residents are currently hospitalized with the virus. A total of 55.3 percent of eligible residents in Marion County 12 years of age and older are fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
