Pierce’s Pumpkin Patch near Columbia will hold its annual Fall Festival this weekend. Owner John Pierce encourages everyone to come out and enjoy a variety of food options and farm activities.

“We have up to 30 vendors selling all sorts of things. We’ll have caramel apples, Dinky Donuts and kettle corn. There’s a lot of other crafts and antiques. It makes for a busy weekend. We’ll have brisket, walking tacos, porkburgers. There’s also a hay bale maze that’s pretty long this year. There’s goats, calves, donkeys and baby chickens out there, kids really like that.”

There will also be a parade of antique tractors. A large selection of pumpkins and gourds are available for purchase, which Pierce says are looking better than ever. Hours of the festival are 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. both today and Sunday. Admission is free. Pierce’s Pumpkin Patch is located at 2941 Highway 14 near Columbia.
