The Simpson College football team hosts the Norse of Luther College today, with both teams searching for their first win of the season. The Storm dropped a heartbreaking contest to Loras last week despite a 13-12 halftime lead, while the Norse have also had a tough time in conference play dropping games against Buena Vista and Nebraska Wesleyan. Head coach Matt Jeter tells KNIA Sports the Storm are just not being consistent enough to win right now.

“We need to be methodical in what we are doing, be patient, and move the ball on the ground and play-action boots and those types of things. That’s who we are, then coming out and playing good defense. We need to put points on the board, and we need to put touchdowns on the board.”
