The Indianola Country Club is hosting a dedication ceremony today, commemorating the life and career of professional golfer and Indianola native Steve Spray. The Indianola Country Club has renamed the entrance drive lane to the club as “Steve Spray Lane”, and will review the history of Spray after growing up in Indianola in the 1950’s and learning golf at the club.

After the brief ceremony, lunch will be served in the club house. Following lunch the assembled PGA Professionals and others will play the course where Steve honed his game. The public is invited to join friends, family, and admirers for this event, which begins at 10:30am on Monday, October 11th.
