Work on the Indianola Downtown Square Reconstruction Project continued with paving on Buxton Street south of Salem Avenue, paving of the intersection of Buxton Street and Salem Avenue, electrical work, and a few areas of sidewalk construction. Permeable paver installation and street paving work will continue this week, with additional electrical work and sidewalk construction, which could cause short-term sidewalk closures and pedestrian detours. Phase 1 construction is expected to be completed by mid-November.
