The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday. They approved a Washington, D.C. trip for members of the freshman and sophomore classes. The board tabled a discussion on a girls basketball team fundraiser for Panthers vs. Cancer. They approved an increase in the pay rate for substitute employees, approved the purchase of a Bobcat telehandler to replace the district’s skidloader, approved running fiber optic cable to and installing security cameras at Randy Wilson Track. The board also held a closed session.
The next Knoxville School Board meeting will be October 25th at 5:30 p.m.
