PCM’s cross country squad finished in the middle of the pack at the Heart of Iowa Conference meet in Jewell on Monday as the girls finished fifth.
The Trojans’ girls finished ahead of Perry and Saydel and had one top-20 finisher in the meet. Paige Steenhoek finished sixth overall individually with a time of 22:03. Tiffani Koonce finished 23rd in the meet with a time of 24:06. Rounding out the top three for the Mustangs’ girls was Makayla True, who placed 25th with a time of 24:10. For PCM’s boys, Kyle Sanders finished as the fastest runner, placing 40th individually with a time of 21:10. Carson Taylor finished 69th overall individually with a time of 23:42.
