Indianola City Council and Mayoral candidates participated in forums over the past several weeks, hosted by Simpson College and Trinity United Presbyterian Church. Candidates were asked questions ranging from city business, the relationship with IMU, and working with those who disagree with you to better the city. The forums were sponsored by the John C. Culver Public Policy Center, the American Association of University Women, The Indianola Independent Advocate, and KNIA/KRLS Radio, and recordings of all three forums can be found with this story on KNIAKRLS.com.
A forum for all 10 Indianola School Board candidates will be held on Thursday, October 21st at Trinity United Presbyterian Church at 7pm, and will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA.
