The Indianola School Board approved several administrative board policy changes at their meeting Monday. Superintendent Art Sathoff tells KNIA News the changes are not significant in terms of how decisions will be made, more so to keep up with standard practices.
“In terms of board policies, every district is tasked with reviewing their policies at least every five years. The Iowa Association of School Boards is a good partner for many districts, and they put out a policy primer which recommends updates to policies and they have a whole bank of model policies that school districts can subscribe to, and they are available for questions.”
