The Pleasantville School District will hold a groundbreaking and celebration for its new football stadium at tomorrow night’s football game. Fans will be able to get a glimpse of future plans and construction renditions of the new stadium. Throughout the course of the evening, there will be recognition of various teams and groups who have been critical parts of Trojan activities and athletics in the stadium’s 64-year history. The celebration will culminate with Trojan fans uniting on the field at the 50-yard line after the game for anl aerial photo.
The new stadium will be built at the same location as the current stadium. It’ll feature a hard surface track, new field event areas, artificial turf football field, new press box, video scoreboard, new restrooms and concession buildings, and upgrades in handicap accessibility.
Friday’s varsity football game against Cardinal, Eldon will kick off at 7:00 p.m.
