A memorial service for 82-year-old Wilbur Vroegh will be held Monday, October 18, at 6 p.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa. Military Honors will be given by member of the Oskaloosa American Legion and V.F.W. at the Bates Funeral Chapel during the memorial service. As was Wilbur’s wish his body has been cremated and burial of his cremated remains will be in the Highland Cemetery at Eddyville. Visitation with the family present will be held Monday from 3 to 6 p.m.
