The Knoxville Football Squad fell to ADM on Friday night 52-0 as heard live on 95.3 KNIA. The Panthers followed the same script as several times this season, falling behind by a large margin in the first half and never being able to recover. The Tigers built a 42-0 lead at the halftime break and largely did not allow Knoxville much on offense until the last few minutes, where the Panthers had four chances inside the ADM 20 yard line but could not connect on four passes. Interim Head Coach Chris Hudson told KNIA/KRLS Sports it came down to ADM being better, while his team tried a few new things hoping to have some advantage.
Hudson: “We were able to complete some passes, and we wanted to throw at first be we had a problem on special teams, and we did throw the ball well at times, and we competed and we will do that with a few more new wrinkles next week.”
Noah Keefer went 8/16 through the air for 65 yards and an interception, Hudson added that Keefer was better at reading the defense and making better decisions. T.J. DeJong led Knoxville on the ground with 46 yards on seven carries. Knoxville is now 1-7 on the season and will host Harlan to close out the season next week
