A portion of W Pleasant Street in Knoxville is temporarily closed beginning today due to demolition at the VA campus. Police Chief Aaron Fuller tells KNIA/KRLS News that the portion between Park Lane Drive and Willetts Drive will be completely closed, but vehicles will be able to access Park Lane Drive and Willetts Drive from Pleasant Street.

The closure will last for approximately a week.
