PCM’s volleyball squad had their season come to an end Monday, but they had a few players that stepped up and performed well this season.

Leading the way in assists for PCM on the season was Sidney Shaver with 344, averaging just above 12 per match. Shaver was also second on the team in aces with 40 and fourth on the team in digs with 107. Chelsea Bird led the team in both kills and digs in 2021, with 172 kills and 177 digs. Bird averaged five kills and five digs a match on the season. Claire Wilson led the team in aces with 48 and was third on the team in digs with 117. RaeAnn Duinink was second on the team in digs with 149, averaging just over four per match.

PCM went 12-22 on the season and 3-4 in Heart of Iowa Conference play. The Mustangs lost in the first round of the playoffs Monday at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
