Pella Christian High School held a service morning on Tuesday to lend a helping hand with projects and assist different organizations around the area. A variety of work included cutting down trees at Lake Red Rock, planting tulip bulbs with the City of Pella, delivering homemade cookies, packaging meals through Meals from the Heartland and more

Junior Leah Osborn is on the PCHS Student Council and was instrumental in writing three grants to receive the funds to package 40,000 meals through Meals from the Heartland. Theisen’s Farm, Home & Auto, Marion County Community Foundation, and the Kuyper Foundation also supported the meal packaging event.
