The Melcher-Dallas Football Squad will play a rare Thursday night game to end the season tonight hosting East Union. The Iowa High School Athletic Association granted schools who play 8-Man through class 2A a ninth game, provided they do not qualify for the playoffs. The Saints have struggled to put consistency together and look to close out the season with their 4th win. Coach Pat Ferguson tells KNIA Sports a win would carry his team with some momentum into next season.

Ferguson: “I’m really hoping we can end the season with a victory, and I know East Union is thinking they don’t have very many guys, and we have to stop #33, so I know they’ll be ready and we’ll be ready too.”

The Saints will host East Union tonight with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 at Melcher-Dallas Field.
